GAMES
I’ve had the honor to work with some incredible indie teams to develop social strategy, community-building, ramping up to announcements, game launches, and more. Here’s a quick look at them:

Unpacking
Building a social media and community strategy for a BAFTA-award-winning video but after launch, focused on keeping players engaged as well as driving new sales, all through growing TikTok, Twitter, and Discord.
Grew TikTok following by 100K in 6 months, and have currently grown it to 380K from 100K
Created 9 TikToks with 1M+ views, and four with 2M+
Grew Discord by 3000+

DREDGE
Brought on to build out a strategy for the second DLC for DREDGE: The Iron Rig.
Built out a comprehensive social media strategy leading up to the launch, increasing engagement, reviving abandoned social channels, and oversaw multiple major announcements including a trailer in the Future Games Show, launch, and new merch both in-house and with Fangamer.
Overhauled the 6500 member Discord to better facilitate communication in both directions and lower the load on the four-person dev team; created templates for customer service interactions, supervised a junior social employee. Created a Bluesky account for the studio and grew it to over 4400 followers in three months.

Go-Go Town!
Wrote and executed on an in-depth social media strategy for their newest game, Go-Go Town!, a chaotic town-building sim. Kept fans engaged for beginning from an announcement at the Future Games Show in 2023, through five playtests, into a successful EA launch in June and beyond.
Created new social media accounts for the game and grew them to 7000+ Twitter followers and almost 5000 members in an active Discord server, with high levels of engagement across networks.
Work cross-team to generate material to share with the community, help build the fan-updated wiki, develop relationships with influencers to generate organic coverage, collaborated with the publisher to help support launch announcements, and collate and share feedback from multiple channels to inform future work on the game.

Tempopo
Tempopo is the third game from Witch Beam, the studio behind Unpacking. Brought on to manage social media growth & collaborate with the publisher to drive wishlists and buzz about the game. Restructured the Unpacking Discord server to be a place that focuses on all their games, not just Unpacking. Built out a social strategy starting from a date announcement at an Xbox IGN Showcase, leading to launch the next year.
